Being in the Cherry Creek Mall is like being inside a swarm
of bees. It’s packed to its limit with people and it’s hard to walk through. A
lot of the stores blast music and others smell way too much like cologne. The
line at Wetzel’s Pretzels basically wraps around the mall and it takes forever,
but it’s worth it for the frozen lemonade. The vending machines give you two
Snapple Iced Teas if you push the button a bunch of times. When you go in to
get one thing, you get pulled in by other stores and leave with no money left.
Teavana gives a ton of really good samples, and barley anyone actually buys tea
from their store. RH home isn’t good for furniture, its good for taking photos
and running around obsessing over how cool everything is. Forever 21 and HM and
super cheap, and Brookstone has massage chairs you can test, and the apple
store is where you go to play games and take pictures on all the iPads. Trying
to find your car in the parking lot is like going through a maze, and Panda
Express and CPK are the best restaurants there.

soccer game
We have our second soccer game against Stanley tomorrow, and
the last time we played them was in basketball. The crushed us. Our team isn’t that
good yet because we are still figuring out everyone’s positions and a lot of people
are still learning. Hopefully we will be able to pull it together before the
game.

julia gonzales
Julia Gonzales is an odd bird. She says she is the best
color matcher ever. She is extremely good at math, and she is going to be
a mathlete along with a hardcore lacrosse player and poms cheerleader. She’s
also going to be an astronaut married to Matt Duchene and or Tyson Barrie and
or Rowan Barnes and or Kenny Moses and or Shawn Matthias. Also she has a shirt
with French fries on it that cost $12.90 at forever 21. Her favorite color is
glitter and she hates green pen and raw fish. Her favorite restaurant is Chick
fil’ a and or Boston market and or panda express and or Mc Donald’s.

the little mermaid
I am part of the production crew for Logan’s musical, The
Little Mermaid. The show is full of gigantic set pieces like ships, thrones,
grottos, and more. We are working with barley any storage space backstage, and
a lot of need for multipurpose sets, so it’s pretty hard. So far we don’t have
much done, but we are getting closer. The show is coming up, and so is tech
week, so hopefully we will be able to pull this show together before opening
night.

rome, italy
Rome is like New York but ancient. It is full of old
buildings and churches that stand full of history and culture of Rome. As you
walk through the streets, they are crowded with tourists and made of
cobblestone. They are full of shops with touristy souvenirs and handmade
leather goods. It smells like rain and there is always a slight breeze drifting
around. Beauty, history, and culture all packed into one city.

spring trip 2015
My favorite Logan Trip I have ever been on was Shae’s Class
trip to Seattle and British Columbia last year. One of my favorite days there was our
first day, when we went to see the Freemont Troll, The Chihuly Exhibit, and The
Space Needle. The rest of the trip consisted of fairy boats, orca whale tours,
some really fun museums, laser light shows, movie nights, underground tours of
Seattle, feeding sea otters, Parks Place Market, Chinatown, duck boat tours, lots
of walking, and so much more. My last Logan trip is coming up soon, but I don’t
think any trip could beat last year’s.
